North Shore Squares is delighted to invite you to a caller seminar led by Vancouver-based Bryan Clark.  Bryan is known for his analytical approach to calling and creative choreography.   
During the seminar, Bryan will discuss:
·      Call mechanics – how to analyze a call to improve sight resolution
·      The power of “Run” – introducing conditionals as tools
·      Square fixing – powerful moves to resolve broken squares
·      Exercising caller judgement – helping dancers feel successful
·      Approaches to teaching – class preparation techniques
Bryan hails from the Pacific Northwest which has a vibrant square dance culture.  He started calling in 1987 and by 1990 he was the Senior Calling Champion at the Pacific Northwest Teen Square Dance Festival.  Now Bryan calls all over the world from Mainstream through Challenge.

Following the caller seminar, Bryan will host a Plus DBD workshop from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and an Advanced dance in the evening from 7:00 – 9:15 p.m.  Join us for the full day if you can!  There are plenty of tasty restaurants nearby for lunch and dinner breaks.
